Aadress: Lõõtsa 4

Technopolis Ülemiste AS administered office building is situated at Lõõtsa 4 in the Ülemiste City district.

The office building’s architectural solutions combine the rich historical heritage of the structure with modern architectural techniques. Two new floors have been added to the original construction.

Whitewashed limestone walls and red-brick window arches left over from the old factory complex stand side by side with prominent glass structures that dominate much of the modern architecture. The latter are put to good use in the Käis building, as translucent glass panels admit much-needed light to transform the old dark factory into a usable office space.

The U-shaped structure of the building allows contact between two office block sections and creates an intimate courtyard with three entrances to the building. The courtyard is defined by the monumental limestone façade, customized lighting, and container-based landscaping, which together create the building’s inimitable ensemble.

The interior rooms have retained some of the legacy of the building in the form of limestone walls. As is customary in modern-day office design, a great deal of emphasis has been placed on modular rooms with light panel walls that can be easily changed if needed. Every office comes complete with toilets and a kitchenette complete with high-energy coloured furniture.
