Avalik loeng: välistudengite praktikale värbamine

Feb 20, 2019 8:00 AM - Feb 20, 2019 10:15 AM

Muuhulgas on programmi üks eesmärke soodustada välistudengite praktikat Eesti ettevõtetes. 👉Migratsiooninõustaja Marina Kadak Politsei- ja Piirivalveametist räägib, millised regulatsioonid kaasnevad EL-ist väljastpoolt inimese töölevärbamisel ja kuidas see erineb juba Eestis õppiva üliõpilase praktikalevärbamisest. Loengu teemad: 📌Välisüliõpilase praktikale värbamise eelised 📌Eripärad, millega välisüliõpilase praktikale värbamisel arvestada 📌Mida regulatsioonide vaates silmas pidada Toimumiskoht: Eesti Ettevõtluskõrgkool Mainor, ruum 217. Toimumisaeg: 20.02.2019 kell 10.00–12.15. Loeng toimub eesti keeles!

Open lecture: Agile strategy execution

Feb 12, 2019 8:00 AM - Feb 12, 2019 10:00 AM

Eesti Ettevõtluskõrgkool Mainor / EUAS
Suur-Sõjamäe 10a, Tallinn, Estonia

REGISTRATION IS CLOSED! Registration has been closed because we have reached the maximum number of registrations for the event. Thank you for your interest! EUAS Public Lecture "Agile strategy execution: how to create your own best practice instead of following others?". Limited seats available! Register https://bit.ly/2AFOFys We are proud to present our Public Lecture Special Guest Umit S. Bititci, Professor of Business Performance at the Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, UK. Prof. Bititci has redefined strategy execution in an agile way. His approach to strategy execution has shown continuously and repeatedly extraordinary results – at least tripling the value of the company in 5 years. At the heart of his method lies the principle of bringing every single employee into the conversation about performance and strategy execution, from top management to front line. He has shown that agile approach to strategy execution is valid both for private and public sector alike. Prof. Bititci is a strong advocate and proponent of building management capabilities that enable companies to create their own best practice, that perfectly suits their strategy and their culture; instead of following others. Prof. Bititci is the author of the book “Managing Business Performance: the Science and the Art”, where he demonstrates both the process but most importantly also the mindset of agile strategy implementation. What you’ll learn from prof. Bititci: • How to execute your strategy and manage performance in an agile way? • How to bring everyone in your company into the discussion about strategy execution and performance? • How to keep focus on execution and performance in an unpredictable ever-changing environment? Where? The lecture will be held at Estonian Entrepreneurship of Applied Sciences, Suur-Sõjamäe 10a, room 217 (second floor). When? 12th of February at 10:00AM - 12:00PM. The lecture is conducted in English. More information: EUAS Lecturer of Organisational Management Development Elar Killumets info@killumets.ee http://killumets.ee/.

Game Jam Tallinn in EUAS

Jan 25, 2019 1:00 PM - Jan 27, 2019 5:00 PM

Eesti Ettevõtluskõrgkool Mainor / EUAS
Suur-Sõjamäe 10a, Tallinn, Estonia

You are all invited to Game Jam event in EUAS, as Global Game Jam official participants under Game Jam Tallinn in EUAS on 25 - 27 of January 2019. The Global Game Jam brings the community together for a weekend to create games. The goal is to come together and create a game in 48 hours. All locations all over the world share the same theme and constraints for the jam. REGISTER HERE: https://globalgamejam.org/2019/jam-sites/game-jam-tallinn-euas-mainor The Global Game Jam® (GGJ) is the world's largest game jam event (game creation) taking place around the world at physical locations. Think of it as a hackathon focused on game development. It is the growth of an idea that in today’s heavily connected world, we could come together, be creative, share experiences and express ourselves in a multitude of ways using video games – it is very universal. The weekend stirs a global creative buzz in games, while at the same time exploring the process of development, be it programming, iterative design, narrative exploration or artistic expression. It is all condensed into a 48 hour development cycle. The GGJ encourages people with all kinds of backgrounds to participate and contribute to this global spread of game development and creativity. The structure of a jam is usually that everyone gathers on Friday late afternoon, watches a short video keynote with advice from leading game developers, and then a secret theme is announced. All sites worldwide are then challenged to make games based on that same theme, with games to be completed by Sunday afternoon. Join us for a weekend of making, community, learning, inspiration and fun. Everyone is welcome to join in whatever your skill set or level. There is something for everyone at GGJ. Previous experience is not necessary. Participants rapidly prototype game designs and hopefully inject new ideas to help grow the game industry. Designers, developers, artists, musicians, knitters, gardeners, architects, everyone and anyone is welcome to try their hand at making a game during the GGJ. You can learn many new skills and support your team by contributing ideas, playtesting and giving moral support. You can as well work on a non-digital game, which won’t require programming skills! The brief time span is meant to help encourage creative thinking to result in small but innovative and experimental games. The GGJ is open source, hardware and software agnostic and all projects are released under a Creative Commons license. Entrepreneurial mindset – natural or learned?

Jan 18, 2019 11:00 AM - Jan 18, 2019 1:30 PM

Open lecture: Entrepreneurial mindset – natural or learned? Participation is free of charge, the lecture is in English. Please register here: https://bit.ly/2RBF8Sr Entrepreneurial mindset helps you to transform your ideas into the actions. Success bases on competences as creativity, risk-acceptance, opportunity identification, planning and implementation of planned activities. We are going to discuss how to lead your own life enterprisingly and through that bring also gain to your company. • Daiva Pakalne, Vilnius College Entrepreneurial mindset – how to think like an entrepreneur Entrepreneurial mindset – how to think like an entrepreneur. (Learning to master your inner game is essential in developing an entrepreneurial mindset. It is always about growth mindset and being able to overcome a self doubt and limiting beliefs. Daiva helps you to understand how your success might be stuck into the lack of enterprising mindset) • Dan Ackers, Oulu University of Applied Sciences / Buutti Oy Success through inspiring others A wise man once said, "if you help enough people get what they want, you can have whatever it is you want". Dan tells you how to give others what they want and through that achieve your own aims. • Hans E. Dorsch, Aalborg University The Innovation Industry Everyone knows the fairy tale of Hans Christian Andersen about the Emperor's new clothes – this describes the reality and appearance in the innovation industry. Professor Hans E. Dorsch talks how this fairy tale describes our modern society. Although the politicians are focused on the threat from the East and the need to re-invent Western society as a knowledge based society, we should focuse on exactly what the Western narrative tells us to be our special talent for innovation. It is time to look at it and see where we are going to. The seminar ends with the panel-discussion where you and lecturers can discuss what we can do to be more entrepreneurial and successful. The event is moderated by Rode Luhaäär, manager of the company Paytailor and lecturer at EUAS. The open lecture will take place with the support from Nordplus Horizontal programme. #ulemistecity #nordplus #entrepreneurship

Laternamatk on sportlik vaba aja veetmise võimalus, mis on igaühele jõukohane. Kellele ei meeldiks käia elava tule valgel kohtades, millest Sa midagi ei tea või kuhu Sa argirutiinis muidu ei satu? - Laternamatkad meid sellistesse kohtadesse aga just viivadki! Traditsiooniliselt teeme poole matka pealt ka pausi teepunktis, kus joome sooja teed ning naudime küünalde ilu! 🔸 Matka kestvus on orienteeruvalt 2,5 tundi. 🔸 Osalustasu / mida sisaldab? eelregistreerimisel 12€ / kohapeal 15€ - õlilaterna kasutamist - käsiraadiojaama kasutamist - rühmajuhi- / treeneri- / giiditeenust - kuuma teed küünaldega kaunistatud joogipunktis www.laternamatkad.ee
