On March 4th at 17:00 Natalia Mirzoyan, an artist of Armenian origin living in Estonia, will open her solo exhibition “Moments in Motion” at the Öpik House Conference Center.
The exhibition captures the essence of fleeting experiences, transforming them into lasting memories through the act of sketching.
According to the artist her creative process is rooted in constant experimentation, blending various graphic materials, textures, and papers to evoke new experiences. “I play with composition and color in a way that doesn’t mimic reality but offers a personal, abstracted vision. Each drawing becomes a snapshot of my memory—a reflection of the world and events around me at that specific moment in time,” said Natalia Mirzoyan.
Adding: “For me, sketching is akin to jazz improvisation—an organic flow where details, rhythms, and the surrounding energy come alive, turning the process into a form of meditation. It is an attempt to freeze an elusive reality and convey not just a drawing, but the story behind it. It is in this spontaneous, on-the-spot creation that my work comes to life, as I capture the surprises, emotions, and stories of the world around me. In this exhibition, I invite you to experience those moments and stories with me. “
