Events and networks 

Keep up to date with Ülemiste City events here and get involved! We host around 120 events a year, with the main themes being knowledge (Business breakfast, etc.), health and sport (Ülemiste City Business Triathlon, Ülemiste Night Run, etc.), green city (Recycling Market), etc. There are also community events that are entertaining and offer the opportunity to meet new people (International Day, Community Day, etc.). The flagship events of the city are the annual Ülemiste City Future Forum and the Health Conference.

The campus is home to the HR networkand the marketing network. HR and marketing professionals are most welcome to join!

  1. Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Estonian, English, and Russian. It is also possible to study via the Open University and earn a microdegree.
  2. Tallinn International School offers international general education in English for students aged 3 to 19, from kindergarten to upper secondary school.

Talent services

Ülemiste City talent intermediation and development services

  • To help your organisation and its people get settled in more smoothly, we’ve put together an adaptation service that includes an introduction of the campus and its services, so that employees can adapt more quickly to the new environment, while also being aware of the different opportunities available (including development, events, etc.). You can find out more here.
  • Join the Ülemiste City HR network, which brings together all HR managers and specialists from organisations on the campus or people who deal with HR on a daily basis. The network is led by talent manager Ljudmila Pihel.
  • Ülemiste City has created the Talent Portal, which brings together talent, businesses as well as higher education institutions and vocational schools to foster cooperation, research and improve the next generation of employees. The portal is also curated by talent manager Ljudmila Pihel.
  • The Ülemiste City Marketing Network brings together marketing and communications professionals and marketing enthusiasts from businesses operating in Ülemiste City. The network enables you to interact within the community and be one of the first to know about all the exciting developments and opportunities coming to our neighbourhood. The head of this network is Marketing and Communications Manager Liivika Lapp.
  • We have developed a completely unique Educational Credit programme that brings together Ülemiste City companies with Estonian and international colleges and universities to make the development of talent as convenient as possible and to expand cooperation between businesses and universities in the areas of research, consultancy, joint projects, etc. The programme is led by Mainor AS management board member Eneken Titov.
  • We cooperate with Estonian and foreign universities at different levels. For your organisation, we can arrange internships throughout the year or summer work placements for students from Estonian and foreign universities, bring students to your organisation once a year for a spring job shadowing day, and help you involve experts from your organisation in teaching and research activities, evaluation panels and research groups. Community leader Triin Ploompuu will provide help with this.
  • Ülemiste City hosts more than 120 events a year, which are organised by various partners and open to the community. Information on events can be quickly found on the Ülemiste City website.
  • Business cooperation is promoted through a B2B platform, where we invite businesses to make offers to the community and the community to take advantage of these opportunities.
  • We make sure our people are healthy and take care of their physical health. For this purpose, we have created a dedicated walking meeting trail. For a refreshing break from work, look no further than the attractions on the campus. Outdoor working areas can be found here.
  • The International House of Estonia (the joint organisation of Enterprise Estonia and KredEx, Work in Estonia) is a service centre for foreign professionals and their families, employers recruiting them and those returning to Estonia. From Tuesday through Thursday, advisers from the Police and Border Guard Board, the City of Tallinn (the Vital Statistics Department and the Entrepreneurship Department), the Integration Foundation, the Unemployment Insurance Fund and the joint organisation of Enterprise Estonia and KredEx (Work in Estonia) will provide information and advice to help people settle in Estonia.

  • The campus is home to two conference centres: Öpik (Valukoja 8, Tallinn) and Zapp (Lõõtsa 6, Tallinn). These conference centres provide state-of-the-art seminar and meeting room facilities for successful meetings, events or training. Coffee breaks and catering will be provided on request.   • The e-Estonia Briefing Centre, set up by the joint organisation of Enterprise Estonia and KredEx, will introduce foreign visitors to the success story of e-Estonia, e-solutions, the ICT sector, innovation, achievements and cooperation opportunities. Arrange a visit with them here.
Visibility and advertising on the campus
  • Make sure your business is added to our services map. To do this, you will need to create a user account here, log in here and fill in your company details as instructed.
  • Advertise your service or product on our building displays. To do this, contact Adovinci and request a quote at info@adovinci.com. NB! For newcomers to the campus, we offer free advertising for the first two weeks.
Household or organisational matters

  • Handyman – if you need to hang a picture on the wall, change a light bulb, change the layout of a room or do something else building-related, you can let us know through the Hausing software. Ask your account manager to create an account.

Radar
  • The research group is working separately on the development of Ülemiste City Radar, which, in addition to economic indicators, will allow for an assessment of Ülemiste City’s environment and the community as a whole, including the services offered in the campus and its development potential. Through the survey, we have identified the volume of output and services produced in Ülemiste City, the generated added value and the main areas of activity of businesses operating on the campus. A more detailed overview of the economic survey can be found here. To make the most of our surveys for you and other members of the community, we will contact you individually.
Talent services
  • Under the Educational Credit programme, Estonian and international universities and colleges offer companies in the Ülemiste campus around 200+ training courses per year to support the development of talent.
  • The Talent Portal will provide an opportunity for businesses and universities to initiate cooperation or work together even more effectively. We look forward to your company’s active participation.
  • We offer companies the opportunity to take part in various educational projects and assessment councils, as well as to attend lectures at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences as a practitioner, supervising student projects, etc. Please let us know if you would like to participate and are willing to contribute your expertise and time.
Community Fund
  • Ülemiste City values its community and that’s why we are involving our people in shaping the future of the campus through the Community Fund, which will help create the kind of future city we have dreamed of for Ülemiste City. Through the Community Fund, we select development projects that are important for the community, hold an annual inclusive budget ideas competition, and also look for ideas to collectively contribute to charity.
Events
  • Ülemiste City is building a smart city of the future. To involve entrepreneurs, we organise a range of events to share best practices and network. In particular, we would like to highlight two major international conferences. The Future Forum focuses on major trends and provides practical recommendations for managers to address them. The Health Conference looks at how companies can support their talents in influencing health behaviour. We look forward to working with your company (as a speaker, participant, etc.) at the events we organise.
